Food safety programme for chain stores and franchises

Changes in food production and consumer habits, as well as increasing foreign trade and economic globalization, make food safety an increasingly important issue in China. It not only concerns public and environmental health, but also has a major impact on the national economy.

The CCFA is playing a leading role on five aspects in improving food safety in chain stores and retail franchises in China:

  • national industry guidance
  • qualifications
  • research reports
  • annual conference
  • information via its publications, webpage and newsletters
