Leading the profession with a focus on the following five key areas:
- Public Health e.g. reducing health inequality, improving the quality of housing, providing safe homes for all
- Regulation and training e.g. improving the effectiveness of regulation and training in the areas of food production and sales, housing, working conditions, environmental protection, and public health
- Sustainability e.g. making people more aware of the implications of climate change on environmental health and proposing solutions to deal with these
- Competency e.g. ensuring quality in our training and continuing professional development
- Comprehensive stakeholder engagement and support e.g. supporting increased member involvement in all we do; acting on what our customers and members tell us; responding to the external environment
