The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health has recently signed a deal with the main provider of workplace health and safety training in Singapore, NTUC has registered to deliver the CIEH level 2 Food safety, and level 1 and 3 Environmental protection qualifications.
The NTUC Learning Hub is a social enterprise dedicated to improving committed to the lifelong employability of the Singapore workforce by providing innovative and affordable high quality training. It was established in 1982 and is owned by the Singapore National Trade Union Congress.

Their vision is to set market benchmarks for the best combination of price, product innovation and excellent service for the adult training and education industry.
The CIEH was originally approached by NTUC LearningHub in September 2007 following an introduction by UK Trade and Investment. They had decided to appraise potential UK partners to widen their portfolio of qualifications on offer at their training facility.
Currently, more than 250,000 people receive training each year at the LearningHub.
