Wednesday 3 December – Marble Arch, London FULL
Introduction
According to a recent CIEH survey, housing enforcement activity has generally increased since the introduction of the HHSRS and that trend is likely to continue.
Time has come to re-assess your approach to enforcement activity and ensure you have completely mastered the principles of good practice in enforcing HHSRS.
The ultimate test of the officer’s decision taking technique is where their enforcement action, under the HHSRS, is appealed to the Residential Property Tribunal. Their chances of success are increased where they can demonstrate that they have a logical, thorough and competent approach to their action.
This one-day course will provide you with a clear understanding of the issues surrounding the enforcement of HHSRS giving you greater confidence, clarity and consistency to effectively fulfil your enforcement duties.
Largely based on the original (National Training) materials it has been updated to account of experience since the implementation of the Housing Act 2004 and the HHSRS Enforcement Guidance.
Highly interactive, the course will offer a mixture of tutorial sessions and work on relevant case studies. Delegates will have the direct support of two knowledgeable and experienced trainers.
