In response to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) review of first-aid training and approval arrangements within the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, the CIEH is launching the brand new CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
To help you deliver this new course effectively, this practical and interactive one-day workshop is designed to refresh your first aid knowledge and help you meet the registration criteria* to become an accredited first aid trainer with the CIEH.

Aims and outcomes:
- gain an in-depth understanding of the syllabus in order to successfully deliver the qualification
- understand and appreciate the legal requirements, roles and responsibilities of first aiders in the workplace
- teach candidates how to assess incidents and conduct scene surveys
- receive practical and interactive demonstrations of all first aid equipment required to deliver the qualification with clear instructions in how to teach candidates to use the equipment
- gain valuable knowledge of the resources available to support your training delivery
- Understand the need to maintain a trainer portfolio and know what this must include

Who should attend?
This workshop has been designed for CIEH registered trainers who wish to deliver the CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work.
