Qualify to deliver the CIEH Qualification
In response to an increasing number of queries from trainers wishing to qualify to deliver this qualification, the CIEH decided to run this one-off Train the Trainer workshop to support the registration requirements.
This one-day event was aimed at preparing trainers to deliver the CIEH Level 2 Award in Hygiene in Health and Social Care, providing guidance through each element of the qualification, including current government policy, legal guidelines, syllabus content and course delivery.
The day was a motivator to promote the importance of hygiene in health and social care as well as help expand trainers’ portfolio.
Aims and Outcomes of the workshop
Stay up-to-date on appropriate legal and technical process for dealing with infectious diseases
Know how to adapt delivery of the qualification to best match the needs of different occupational groups
Fully understand the legal and technical background of the qualification
Further training skills to engage candidates and encourage participation
Build confidence in teaching all about hygiene hazards
Learn about control measures that can be employed to reduce the risks of contamination and infection
