Following the publication of the Public Health White Paper, ‘Healthy Lives, Healthy People’, the CIEH has teamed up with the Department of Health to bring you a series of nationwide forums designed to seek the views and opinions of EHPs in regards to the Public Health White Paper as part of the consultation process taking place until 31 March 2011.
This is a unique opportunity to hear first hand from the DH’s Public Health White Paper team about the proposals for the new Public Health Service for England and play a proactive role in influencing your future.
This event will also provide you with insight into how the environmental health profession will need to respond to the Government’s plans. This will cover the skills needed, the improved health outcomes expected and the new opportunities presented.
A one-day concluding conference will take place in March (date to be announced shortly) where the issues, concerns and aspirations from these consultation events of EHPs will be presented to the Public Health Minister.
