The CIEH has been operating in the People’s Republic and Hong Kong for many years.
Demand for UK accredited qualifications led the CIEH’s investment, and now many thousands of Chinese people hold CIEH qualifications, especially in food safety.
CIEH qualifications are available via classroom training through our network of centres in China, Hong Kong and Macau. We also provide food safety training online in Mandarin and Cantonese through the all-China CIEH eLearning website.
The CIEH is keen to work with city and municipal authorities, large enterprises and trade organisations to endorse their food safety and workplace health and safety training programmes, providing transparent and consistent quality through our internationally-recognised business model.
Our degree programmes are currently being delivered through universities in Hong Kong, with another bachelor programme starting the accreditation process in Chongqing. We welcome the opportunity to work with new academic partners interested in developing the environmental health curriculum in China.
We are currently expanding our membership offering so that well-qualified individuals, training companies, and larger businesses can benefit from CIEH’s campaign to support communities in their moves to improve local public health.
