Supported by the CIEH, this year's Food Safety Week focuses on the actions that people can take at home to prevent food poisoning from Camplyobacter: cooking thoroughly and avoiding cross-contamination.
The FSA has developed a new campaign toolkit containing key messages, ideas for running events in your local area, a template press release and a list of resources.
They have also developed new resources, including recipe cards incorporating food hygiene messages and a food hygiene quiz. These can be handed out or used as part of an event or presentation.
This year's resources can be downloaded here or ordered free from Food Standards Agency Publications. Telephone 0845 606 0667 or email foodstandards@ecgroup.co.uk.
General Food Safety Week resources, including leaflets and posters, can be downloaded from the Food Safety Week resources page or ordered from Food Standards Agency Publications.
This year, Food Safety Week will take place from 7 to 13 June.
