The purpose of the Education and Research Special Interest Group will to provide a focal point within the environmental health community, both nationally and internationally, to advance our understanding of teaching, learning, training and research.
It will also provide a strong link between its members and the CIEH and encourage greater collaboration and co-operation over a range of related policy issues. A key objective is to advance research capabilities within environmental health to ensure the development of an evidence base for practice, including supporting an annual research conference.
The SIG will aim to have regular meetings and provide CPD events for its members, and is open to all CIEH members who have an interest in education, training and research. Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or via MyCIEH.
