Fellows are among the CIEH’s most knowledgeable and experienced members. Award of a Fellowship is the gift of Council and recognises members who have made an outstanding contribution to the profession.
There are two routes to Fellowship:
Election
You can apply yourself, or be nominated by colleagues from your region. You must have been a Voting member for at least 10 years.
Thesis
You can apply if you are the author of a substantial piece of research that adds to the knowledge base in the field of environmental health. You must have been a CIEH member for at least five years.
Petition
You can be nominated by an individual member, supported by at least one Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner. This nomination is to be submitted in writing directly to the Chief Executive. You must have been a Voting member for at least 10 years.
Fellowship membership costs £161.00 for 2010.
