South East Region Winter Forum “Bothered By Noise?” a great success!

On 19 February this year’s Regional Winter Forum saw a hundred EHPs, planners, noise consultants, community safety and public health practitioners getting together in Oxford Town Hall to talk about noise: its causes and effects, the tools available to us, how things are changing and how we can work in partnership to tackle it.

We heard from 9 (yes 9!) excellent and authoritative speakers who advised us on health, policy, legislative, technical and legal matters. And we held discussion groups to take forward what we had heard and what we think should be done next.

An ambitious programme but an excellent day, with masses of up to date information, views and ideas exchanged. The outcome of the groups will be put together and posted on this site shortly. Meanwhile the presentation slides can be seen here.

SERMB Minutes

The January meeting of the South East Region Management Board considered a number of important review and planning matters for the CIEH South East Region. See the minutes here.

Welcome to the CIEH Southeast pages.

These have been rearranged to make them more useful and easy to access.

The news page has been condensed so it just contains news!  ...and the presentations are now stored all together and grouped by year.
