Voting membership is for people who have an EHRB Certificate of Registration (or equivalent) and were either corporate members of the Institution of Environmental Health Officers on 1 January 1990 and have been continuous members since, or have passed the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), the Assessment of Professional Development (APD), or qualified through the CIEH’s Professional Examinations route.
Voting members may be eligible to apply for chartered status. This is open to people who have been graduate or voting members of the CIEH for three continuous years and have at least five years’ experience as a qualified professional. This also includes those with records proving Continuing Professional Development (CPD) over three years; those who have passed the Assessment of Professional Development (APD), or have at least a year in professional practice after passing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
Voting membership costs £151.00 for 2009.
