CIEH Wiltshire & Swindon Branch AGM and Questionaire
Since Wiltshire Council came into existence as a unitary authority last year, the members of the CIEH Wiltshire & Swindon Branch executive now all work for the same authority apart from Swindon.
As a result we are really keen to bring members of the CIEH Wiltshire Branch who do not work for Wiltshire Council to become active members on the executive and join our meetings and help with providing some CPD events for members.
Graham Steady, our current chair of the branch will be standing down at the end of this year so we are looking for someone to take on the position for 2011. If you feel the role of chair, secretary, treasurer or a representative may be of interest to you please contact me on the details below.
The Branch’s AGM will be taking place on Wednesday 19th January 2011 in the Council Chamber at Wiltshire Council Browfort Office, Bath Road, Devizes, SN10 2AT, starting at 10:00am.
The day will start with the AGM, followed by speakers on the ‘Work Well Wessex Scheme’, Swindon Fire & Rescue talking about living accommodation above commercial premises, A brewery tour of Wadworth’s, a day in the life of Mike Studden at the HPA and Student training ‘wish list’. A programme of the day will be circulated as soon as we have confirmation of speakers so the above is subject to change.
I really hope you can attend as the branch is keen to improve connections with non council CIEH members.
