One-third of the elected representatives on Council will be retiring in December 2010 and nominations are invited from members of the following regions:
- London
- Northern Ireland
- South East
- Wales
The above regions shall elect Trustees for a term of three years, such term to commence on 1 January 2011, and they shall be eligible for re-election unless precluded by the provisions of the Charter and Byelaws. However, candidates should be aware that Council is considering new governance arrangements which, if agreed, may affect the term of office.
Any member of the CIEH in good financial standing on 31 August 2010 may nominate members of the same region in good financial standing on the same date for election to the Council of the CIEH.
Each region shall elect representatives in accordance with the table below:
