Updates for the PT Logbooks

The Blue, Burgundy and Green Logbooks have remained unchanged from their original wording since their introduction.  The advent of new and updated legislation has meant that some of the guidance and instructions contained in the three logbooks is out of date and somewhat confusing to students and so the wording has now been reviewed and updated in the light of recent legislation. The changes are set out below.

Blue Logbook

In the Blue Logbook, the following amendments are required:-

Practical Training Requirements (Pages 10-13)

  • Remove references to 48 weeks of practical training;
  • Remove references to meat inspection training in an abattoir;
  • Remove references to training and duration of placements

Environmental Protection
