This guide from 1997 is intended to provide details on the practical and technical means of achieving adequate fire precautions for Houses in Multiple Occupation. It does not seek to interpret the current standards recommended by the Government and should be used with that proviso in mind.
The guide was produced by a working party of London environmental health practitioners and the London Fire Brigade and supported by the fire protection industry.
