The advanced certificate in food safety is designed for managers with responsibility for food safety, or supervisors of staff preparing and handling food in a catering or retail setting.
It is the highest qualification provided by CIEH in China, and ensures that managers have independent verification of their food safety knowledge.
Learning benefit
Certificate holders have sufficient knowledge to ensure operations comply with food hygiene legislation. They know how to manage a safe food business and establish, implement, monitor and maintain food safety management procedures in a catering or retail operation.
In addition, certificate holders are qualified to deliver the CCFA-CIEH foundation certificate in food safety directly to their staff.

Qualification information
Course duration: five day programme delivered by a CIEH registered trainer
Assessment method: three assignments and one observed training presentation.
