Health and safety training

CIEH, Ofqual accredited, health and safety training for the workplace ranges from Level 1, ideal for those new to the workplace through to level 4 designed for supervisors and managers with health and safety responsibility.

Also includes qualifications in risk assessment, COSHH, manual handling, stress awareness and conflict resolution.

• CIEH Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
  Designed to make employees aware of the key health and safety issues and the part they should play in keeping themselves and others free from harm in the workplace.
• CIEH level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness
  Provides a basic understanding of workplace fire safety and prevention.
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
  This qualification has been developed to ensure employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public.
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling
  Provides an introduction to the hazards of manual handling.
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Manual Handling – Principles and Practice
  Provides essential information about manual handling hazards and their control as part of a full health and safety training programme.
• CIEH Level 2 Award in the Principles of COSHH
  Prepares employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances.
• CIEH Certificate in Stress Awareness
  This qualification is an introduction to the issue of work-related stress
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in Health and Social Care
  Provides employees with a good understanding and knowledge of health and safety in the health and social care setting.
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Hygiene in Health and Social Care
  Provides employees with an introduction to hygiene hazards and how to control them.
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety
  Helps organisations protect their staff as well as their organisational and operational effectiveness.
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Risk Assessment
  Raises employees’ safety awareness of the concept of risk assessment in a work environment.
• CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety (Refresher)
  All candidates who have taken the CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace are encouraged to take a refresher course three years after completion.
