As a CIEH registered trainer with no experience in food safety training you will need to have a CIEH Level 3 Award in Food Safety (or equivalent) in addition to one of the following:
- Proof of a Level 3 Diploma in Cleaning Services Supervision (or equivalent)

- A verifiable statement to demonstrate evidence of knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting the supervision of cleaning staff in food premises

- Attendance at a CIEH train the trainer event – This workshop will provide you with the necessary background in the principles of cleaning in food premises
