Accessing the materials
All files are in Adobe PDF format. In order to open and print them you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your machine. Acrobat reader is available as a free download from Adobe's website.
- Using your mouse, click on the material you wish to use. The pdf document opens.
- Choose the “save a copy” option on the toolbar.
- Choose a place on your computer to save the file
- Go to My Computer and find the file you have just saved and open it
Please note, some of the files are quite large and may take a while to download on slower connections.
How to use the materials
Advert
- Contact your local publication (e.g. newspaper or magazine) to enquire about cost and availability of advertising space
- Check the ‘circulation and audience’: find out whether the publication fits the type of customers you normally do business with
- Add your contact details in the space provided by typing over the existing text
Flyer
- Add your contact details in the space provided by typing over the existing text
- Trim the A5 flyers to size neatly, preferably with a guillotine
- Post with a letter or hand out to potential customers
Alternatively you could approach your local chamber of commerce or business link to distribute them.
Poster
- Print to A3 or A4 if possible
- Add your contact details in the space provided by typing over the existing text
- Attach to a prominent surface in your place of business
Alternatively you could approach your local chamber of commerce or business link to display them.
Qualification factsheet
Specifically designed to be printed either in A4 or A3 formats, you can use these artworks as factsheet as well as posters.
As for the marketing materials, simply add your contact details in the space provided by typing over the existing text
To select the printing size, go to your printer’s Properties from your print screen.

Select the Paper tab and scroll down the size drop box to reach your required format.

- Please note: you cannot save the pdf document once you have added your contact details. You will need to add them each time you need to print these materials.
Further Guidance
- These materials have been designed to also be supplied to a professional printer, which would result in a higher quality finish. However, you cannot save the pdf once you have added your contact details. You will therefore need to send the artwork to your printer leaving it to him to add your details.
