In response to recommendations made by a government-commissioned independent review panel, teaching qualifications have been simplified and renamed. New units of assessment have been developed in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). In response to this, the CIEH has introduced two qualifications.
‘The Level 3 Education and Training course has meant that I am able to deliver effective training to our staff and has helped me to understand the tools and techniques that could be used to enhance the knowledge of the staff. The training materials have been helpful to identify the issues that we have been missing on our training.’
Tony Mahendra, Manager – FM Services, OCS Healthcare & infrastructure
‘As the Certificate in Education and Training replaced PTLLS, the CIEH was my first option to deliver the qualification, purely due to the publications and training products provided. These allow you to establish and build your own personal way of delivering the qualification . . . This qualification has allowed our staff to develop themselves and increase the quality of our service to employees and to our users’
Pauline Salisbury, Training Officer, Conwy County Borough Council
