Presentation at: Council Offices, Henshaw Depot, Focus Way, Leeds, LS19 7BL

This is an opportunity to see how emissions to atmosphere are controlled from crematoriums and to see the new abatement system that is in place at Rawdon Crematorium which controls mercury emissions. This will be followed by a presentation that will give an insight into how crematoriums work and the way in which they comply with the Environmental Permit.

The event will start with the visit to Rawdon Crematorium at 17.30 pm, please note the Crematorium can be accessed via Leeds Road (signposted). On arrival please park in the car park and make your way to the entrance of the Crematorium. The presentation will commence at 18.30 pm where a buffet tea and refreshments will be provided.

N.B. All people attending will have to make their own way to each of the venues as no transport will be provided

The event is free to CIEH members and a charge of £5.00 will apply to non-members
