This category recognises an individual who has delivered a significant improvement to health, wellbeing and the environment over the past three years (May 2015 to April 2018).
Entries should include the following information (in no more than 1,000 words):
- Overview of experience and commitment to professional development.
- Work-related achievements.
- Work-related challenge you overcame which best demonstrates your approach (what happened, how you overcame it, how it affected your practice).
- Summary of a project / initiative you are most proud ofin terms of a significant impact to health, wellbeing and environment (include brief and objectives, rationale including research and planning, strategy and approach, implementation, measurement and evaluation, budget and cost-effectiveness).
In addition to the 1,000-word entry, an overarching summary (of no more than 100 words) must be submitted to give an outline of this person’s achievements. This summary will be used in the event the entry is shortlisted in the CIEH Excellence Awards and may be used in marketing material for future Excellence Awards.
