Governments across the UK have introduced new legislation referred to as ‘Natasha’s Law’. From 1 October 2021 any food business selling pre-packed for direct sale (PPDS) food will have to include a full ingredients list on product labels with allergenic ingredients emphasised.

This webinar intends to provide businesses with a better understanding of the new allergen labelling changes that will help protect food hypersensitive consumers through the requirement for potentially life-saving allergen information. The session will explain who is affected by the new law, how it impacts businesses and what they need to ensure they are prepared.

  • What is the definition of pre-packed for direct sale (PPDS)?
  • How does it affect food businesses?
  • What do food businesses need to do to prepare?

CPD: 1 hour
