This event is designed as an opportunity for CIEH members with an interest in environmental protection to meet and discuss the issues currently affecting practitioners, share experiences of current challenges and simply catch up with colleagues.

Air Quality will be the theme for this particular event. Andrea Davidson, Air Quality Manager at HS2 Ltd and Matthew Clark, Air Quality Programme Manager at Hertfordshire Council.

Somayya Yaqub
Somayya has over 15 years’ experience in local government with an emphasis on environmental health, pollution and noise control and safety, with speciality in acoustics. Somayya has thorough experience of large-scale regeneration projects and design risk mitigation. Giving evidence at planning enquiries and being cross examined.

Somayya is the co-author of the Professional Planning Guidance document to supplement the National Planning Policy framework, Member of the Institute of Acoustics Environmental Noise, Committee Chair of the London Noise Action Forum and Pollution Study Group at the Charted Institute of Environmental Health, Non-Executive Board member of Broadway Living.
