This 90-minute training webinar has been developed to give officers an opportunity to build upon the learning from the FSA’s Imported Food Legislation and Enforcement training, with a special focus on the value of capturing intelligence in this area.
Verification of imported food inland is a responsibility of all LAs. This course will focus on a variety of foodstuffs and scenarios, how to verify and deal with them, when found. The gathering, recording and dissemination of intelligence is vital in this context and this training will focus on how and when this should happen.

Who should attend?
This training webinar is suitable for local authority officers in environmental health and trading standards who are involved in food work inland.
NB: Priority will be given to delegates who have previously completed the FSA’s Imported Food Legislation and Enforcement training course. Secondary priority will be given to delegates who have successfully completed the FSA’s e-learning product Introduction to imported food and official controls
