Science is at the heart of FSA, but what does that mean for Local Authorities and how can science help ensure the safety and authenticity of food? In this webinar we will talk about FSA science – the kind of science we do, the way it interfaces with policy and why it matters. We’ll also talk about science advice during incidents or emergencies; who does what, and why does it matter? Finally, we will think a little about the future of research and how rapidly evolving science and technology might have a profound impact on the role of local authorities in the near future.
