New Chartered Practitioner programme

This route is designed to develop highly competent professionals able to protect the health and wellbeing of people and communities.

The Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner Programme is a two-year, practice-based route to Chartered Status and is built on our Professional Standards.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must:

  • Hold either the Member (MCIEH) or Fellowship (FCEIH) grade
  • Hold a CIEH accredited qualification in environmental health at a minimum of level 6
  • Be practising in an environmental health setting
  • Have a statement of employer support

Cost

A one-off application fee of £1,150.

This includes (for both years) registration and induction fees, on-programme monitoring and administration, supporting and guidance materials, assessment and ratification, certification of Chartered Status.

The next programme will begin on Friday 25 September 2020. Registrations for the September programme must be received by Friday 11 September 2020. Late submissions will not be accepted.
