Frequently asked questions about membership renewals.

▼ How do I renew my membership? 

The easiest and cheapest way to pay is by Direct Debit. Once you’ve signed up you never have to worry about missing out ever again. Simply fill in the direct debit form and post it back, we’ll do the rest.

Alternatively renew your membership online via MyCIEH, our online portal.

▼ How do I log in to MyCIEH? 

You can log in to MyCIEH at www.cieh.org/MyCIEH 

You will be asked to provide:

  • Your username - this is the email address you registered with; and
  • Your MyCIEH password. If you do not know your password, we can email it to you

▼ How do I renew on MyCIEH? 

When you have entered MyCIEH a link to the payment portal will be displayed at the top of the home page. Click on the link and follow the instructions provided. If you have any difficulties, please contact our membership team.

▼ Is paying online secure? 

Yes, our transactions are managed by WorldPay, an internationally recognised online payment provider, which processes millions of online transactions every day. Neither Worldpay nor the CIEH will retain your credit card details.

▼ How will I get a receipt for my payment? 

We will send you a receipt for your payment through the post, along with your membership card for 2018.

▼ I do not wish to pay online but would still like to get the early payment discount – how do I do this? 

The early renewal discount will run until midnight on 31 January 2018. If you set up a Direct Debit making one or ten payments, you are still able to get the discount.

▼ How else can I pay? 

We will be sending you full details of other methods of payments shortly and a membership brochure.

▼ My employer pays for my membership fees – how do I arrange this? 

Please ask your employer to email our membership team a list of members who will be paid for. We can then invoice your employer directly.

▼ My circumstances have changed – what can I do about this? 

You can check the information we hold on you on MyCIEH under 'My Details'. On this page you can change your address and contact information. If you would like to change grades or transfer to retired, non-working or maternity rate, please email our membership team.

▼ What period will this fee cover? 

Your membership runs for a calendar year, so this fee will cover January to December 2018.
