Event booking terms and conditions

Cancellation by us: In the event of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to amend the programme, reschedule or cancel this event. In the event of cancellation or postponement, delegates will be notified in writing and provided with a full refund or the option to transfer to another event. In the unlikely event that minimum numbers are not met cancellations will be necessary. We will make that decision at least two weeks prior to the event so bear that in mind when booking travel and accommodation. Please be advised that we cannot be held responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred should an event be rescheduled or cancelled. Joining instructions will be sent approximately two weeks prior to the event.

Cancellations and transfers by delegates: Delegates may cancel their place and receive a full refund provided that notification is received in writing (events@cieh.org) at least 20 working days prior to the event. For any two day courses, the 20 day cancellation must be made before day one and not day two. Any cancellations made after this time will render you liable for the full fee whether you attend or not.

Delegates may transfer their place to another event provided that notification is received in writing (events@cieh.org) at least 20 working days prior to the event. For any two day courses, the 20 days transfer request must be made before day one and not day two. Any transfers made after this time will render the delegate liable for the full fee whether you attend or not.

A name change between the same value booking (i.e. member rate or non member rate) can be made at no cost. This change should be requested by email (events@cieh.org)

We will not be liable for reimbursing delegate fees if delegates are not able to attend an event due to circumstances out of the our reasonable control including, but not limited to, a change to personal circumstances, sickness, weather conditions, fire, flood, transport strikes, closures or delays or any other Force Majeure or Act of God.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Refunds: We will refund any credit/debit card payments made in error within 20 days of notification of the error in writing (events@cieh.org)

Event Material

Event Material Disclaimer: All delegate material used for our events is owned by us or our trainers. Material is up to date and relevant at time the event is delivered and will not be refreshed thereafter. All materials from our events is for personal use only.

FSA Events

FSA Training: Delegates may cancel or transfer their place to an alternative event, provided that notification is received in writing (FSATraining@cieh.org) at least five working days prior to the event. For any two day courses, the five day cancellation must be made before day one and not day two. A name change can be made by emailing (FSATraining@cieh.org). Failure to notify us will result in that delegate not being able to attend any further FSA training.

We will not be liable for reimbursing delegate expenses, such as transport or accommodation, if delegates are not able to attend an event due to circumstances out of the our reasonable control including, but not limited to, a change to personal circumstances, sickness, weather conditions, fire, flood, transport strikes, closures or delays or any other Force Majeure or Act of God.
