CIEH Air Quality Conference

About this conference

Air quality remains a significant public health challenge, and local authorities play a vital role in tackling air pollution and protecting the health of their communities.

The CIEH Air Quality Conference will bring together environmental health professionals and experts from across the sector to explore the latest developments in air quality guidance, policy, research and practice. The half-day conference will focus on how national priorities, emerging evidence and practical tools can support local action to improve air quality.

Through expert presentations and real-world case studies, delegates will explore how community-led monitoring and local data can strengthen understanding of air pollution, how global sources of pollution influence local air quality, and how collaboration across organisations can help inform effective responses. The programme will also examine the resources available to Environmental Health Officers and the role local authorities can play in delivering meaningful improvements.

Join us to gain new insights, learn from current practice and explore how environmental health professionals can turn evidence into action to support cleaner air and healthier communities.
