CIEH appoints new Executive Director of Environmental Health
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health has appointed Louise Hosking CEnvH MCIEH CMIOSH CMaPS PIEMA SIIRSM to the role of Executive Director of Environmental Health.
Louise is a chartered environmental health professional with over 30 years’ experience within the public, private and third sectors. A transformational leader and global influencer, she is passionate about the potential we all have to unlock abilities within people to create high-performing and psychologically safe teams who create value.
Louise recently completed a one-year term as IOSH President focusing on governance, social sustainability and putting heart into Health and Safety. She will be stepping down from her role as Director of Hosking Associates to join the CIEH. Louise is also co-founder of the OneWISH coalition which globally promotes and supports underrepresented groups in Safety and Health leadership roles, bringing organisations, membership bodies and others together to promote inclusion and fairness.

I am keen to bring what we do to a new audience whilst supporting EHPs already working hard to create safer, cleaner and healthier environments for all.”
