Prior to September 2021, Environmental Health Practitioners (EHPs) and related professionals who qualified in England, Wales and Northern Ireland were Registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).

Registers of all holders of a Certificate of Registration who completed the appropriate qualifications to become an Environmental Health Practitioner prior to September 2021:

Practitioners' Registrations with EHRB will remain valid indefinitely, so for this reason there is no requirement for people who are Registered with EHRB to join CIEH’s Professional Registers.
However, we appreciate that some Practitioners may also wish to appear on CIEH's Register and have access to the relevant digital credentials. We have therefore created a simple process to follow to do this: you would need to hold the appropriate grade of CIEH membership, provide up-to-date CPD records, and pay an enrolment fee.

The enrolment fee for 2022 is £47.
Please note that ongoing Registration with CIEH is dependent on maintaining membership and CPD at the appropriate levels.
