This workshop provides an insight into the fundamentals that electricians apply when completing the Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR). It will help you understand and question the validity and technical ability of persons submitting the report.
The course will be of interest for those who have little awareness of this topic and need to know the basics, including:

With over 20 years of experience in the electrical trade, Ian Halton is an established voice within the industry. Through his role as Business Relationship Director at NAPIT (from 2010-2019) Ian has been responsible for educating Local Authorities across the country on the latest electrical issues. Since leaving NAPIT, Ian has continued to work with the CIEH, RNLA and Local Authorities. Prior to working for NAPIT, Ian spent 9 years in the installation sector, with this knowledge now informing his current work with Local Authorities. In his spare time Ian enjoys golf, running and squash.
